Sugar Maple Festival Ambassadors
2026
The Festival Committee selected four Bellbrook High School seniors as the 2026 Ambassador Scholarship recipients - Venus Aggarwal, Lily Conway, Kurtis Lefeld, & Roshan Patel. These 4 students have shown commendable leadership and dedicated over 1000+ hours collectively volunteering in the schools and in the community. Each student will receive a scholarship and assist the committee in Festival operations during the weekend.
Venus Aggarwal served as a campaign leader for Blood Cancer United during her Junior year, where she helped raise over $60,000 for young cancer patient care. She is the founder & member of Bellbrook HS Marketing Club and an intern at the Sugarcreek-Bellbrook Chamber of Commerce. Venus will attend Miami University this fall working toward simultaneous bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting.
Lily Conway serves as the treasurer of the National Honor Society, is the Vice president of HOSA (Future Health Professionals) and is a lead peer in the Supportive Peers program. She has volunteered at the Bellbrook Presbyterian Church Food Distribution and is involved in The Other TP. Lily plans to attend the University of Cincinnati and major in Nursing.
Kurtis Lefeld is a member of the National Honor Society, serves as a lead peer for Supportive Peers, and is a member of the Key Club.. He was selected as a Leadership Delegate to attend the Life Teen Leadership Conference, and he received his Eagle Scout Award constructing a vernal pool to support the spotted salamander population & rebuilding bird boxes at Sweet Arrow Reserve. Kurtis will attend Ohio University majoring in Environmental Science.
Roshan Patel serves as Student Government Vice President, is a member of the National Honor Society, and is involved in several sports teams & clubs. He is a lead peer in the Supportive Peers program and has been with the same peer for 2 years. He has also volunteered as a peer tutor and served as the Academic Team captain. Roshan plans to attend Georgia Tech and major in Computer Engineering.

Alyssa Browning is a member of National Honor Society and received the Distinguished Services Award in 2024 for over 300+ hours of community service. Alyssa earned her Girl Scout Gold Award by leading a campaign against teen dating violence focusing on healthy and unhealthy relationships. Alyssa plans to attend the University of Cincinnati in the Fall and major in Computer Science.
Zac Hansen is the president of the BHS Key Club and a member of the National Honor Society. Zac started volunteering in the community in 8th grade by doing yard work for elderly neighbors in the community. He has been involved in several programs that rely exclusively on volunteers like Eagle Eats & SICSA and has served as a lead peer in the Supportive Peers Program. Zac will attend the University of Dayton this fall majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Emma Jenkins serves as Senior Class President at BHS. She has spent many years volunteering in school, dance and at church. She was selected to attend a Youth Leadership Foundation conference her junior year. Emma was also a Student Visionary her junior year and coordinated the local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser in Bellbrook. Emma plans to attend the Ohio State University and major in Psychology & Pre Med.
Taitum Savey serves as the Secretary for National Honor Society. She has been involved in the Supportive Peer program, working exclusively with a deaf student to provide academic, social and emotional support in the schools.. She is the senior captain for both BHS Soccer and Softball. In her spare time, she helps with local blood drive campaigns through the Health Occupations of Students of America. Taitum will attend the University of Cincinnati and major in Pre-Med with a minor in Disability Studies.
